2. 3Layer Fiber
reinforced PE heat shrinkable tape (sleeve) is composed of cross-linked polyethylene back, a middle layer of fiber and special heat melt adhesive an. The 3 layer reinforced sleeve gives better shrink ratio, and better strength. It is resistant to corrosion, wear, impact, UV and aging, easier to be operated.
Application area:
It is mainly used for Hollow wall spiral pipe, corrugated pipe and metal reinforced corrugated spiral pipe etc.
TEST PROCEDURE
1. Clean the steel pipe and heat it by fire till over 80 ºC
2. Paint the steel pipe with Primer (mixed with A&B)
3. Fire heat the heat shrink sleeve, be attention to start heating from middle of the sleeve, but act from up and down, and gradually move from middle to two sides of sleeve, in order to drive air out of the sleeve, after finish heating, the good result is that there is about 1-2mm hot adhesive melt at the edge of sleeve.

Construction precautions
Repair construction can be manual or mechanical installation. A non-polluting heating method should be used to heat the patching part of the steel pipe surface, and a mechanical heating method should be used for large diameter pipes. Heating should not cause surface pollution of the steel pipe, should not damage the anti-corrosion layer of the pipe body
The welding joint should be cleaned, and the burrs, welding slag, spatter and welding burrs in the circumferential weld and its vicinity should be cleaned. The dirt, oil and impurities at the patch should be cleaned up; When the end of the anti-corrosion layer has warping, rust, cracking and other defects, it should be cleaned
